FC Klavertje Vier's Zabal Ubeda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claude Persoons but with some difficulty. Claude Persoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joery Hylen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, FC Klavertje Vier's goal looked a bit too open when Rik Winnepennincks came free, but Zabulón Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons got control of the ball when Joery Hylen tried to sneak it across the goal line. LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joery Hylen in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Atle Finsrud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Claude Persoons was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claude Persoons was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Atle Finsrud showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Rik Winnepennincks managed to get in a good position for a shot. LeRoeulx's supporters rose to their feet, but Rik Winnepennincks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabulón Carabajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the match, Zabal Ubeda notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons. Claude Persoons was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zinon Potamias was the one to do the kick off. Zabulón Carabajal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rik Winnepennincks in the 53rd minute. Claude Persoons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atle Finsrud, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rik Winnepennincks got free with Zabulón Carabajal in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joery Hylen scored 7-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claude Persoons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claude Persoons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Potamias in the 66th minute of the match. FC Klavertje Vier's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zabal Ubeda in the 67th minute. Claude Persoons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zabal Ubeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Brian Van Eynde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Zabal Ubeda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Klavertje Vier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LeRoeulx the free kick. A collision led to FC Klavertje Vier getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zabal Ubeda hit a great ball. FC Klavertje Vier made a substitution. Camacho Cadenas replaced Iwan Marchefka. In the 76th minute of the match, Jabbar De Roeulx tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zabulón Carabajal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Rik Winnepennincks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabulón Carabajal was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Camacho Cadenas made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Oscar Van Aerschot. LeRoeulx's Claude Persoons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atle Finsrud in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when LeRoeulx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Van der Willeghem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camacho Cadenas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Claude Persoons right hand side. In the 93rd minute of the game Camacho Cadenas made a throw-in which Atle Finsrud played forward. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Klavertje Vier had played much better football throughout.
