Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leones FC's Martin Asier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Martin Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes LTA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeremias Cisco who took care of the corner kick. Danilo Hitzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Hitzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in LTA FC's zone, Jeremias Cisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Maiorga came out of the goal and Jeremias Cisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Wilfredo Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Palermo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Aureliano Obeko made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Hitzeder in the 15th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Martin Asier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arsenio Maiorga was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nicolas Bizi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Jeremias Cisco got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Martin Asier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arsenio Maiorga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko got control of the ball when Martin Palermo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Palermo made a kick off. In the 56th minute Matías Giménez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Martin Asier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Quinto came free, but Arsenio Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Javier Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Luis Bakar scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Obeko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Albino Isadore sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko didn't even have to move. Albino Isadore charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Isadore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Isadore to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Matías Giménez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LTA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. There was no doubt that LTA FC were the better team. LTA FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
