Claes Anundsson lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Gregorio Lehior had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Karol Borowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. C. A. Potrero were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Tacheros de Buenos Aires's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pastor Montrell took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Pastor Montrell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gregorio Lehior quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mariano Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Adolfo Blanco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Alejandro Nicholas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacheros de Buenos Aires fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Otto Sudaryanto in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C. A. Potrero's Celestino Sidro. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Marajda in the 33rd minute of play. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Nicholas in the 34th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolfo Blanco made a kick off. Gregorio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Florentino Lesardo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gregorio Lehior stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Borowski's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Gregorio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Borowski in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Melo in the 66th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateusz Marajda. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Marajda got free with Gregorio Lehior in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Faustão Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Arendarski was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Karol Borowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Marajda got free with Gregorio Lehior in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 minutes of play, C. A. Potrero's Mateusz Marajda made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Lehior was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gregorio Lehior came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Mateusz Marajda. But to his dismay, Mateusz Marajda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gregorio Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Yorangil, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
