The supporters of Juniors FC booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lluis Companys didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's Uriel Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pierluigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Isias in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, Wlodzimierz Lepper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Isias might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierluigi Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Isias ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierluigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Isias in the 10th minute. In the 11th match minute, Juniors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Satordi to maneuver through the defense. Pierluigi Buffon was a little too slow when Uriel Isias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 19 minutes Juniors FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Noel Hargrave who took care of the corner kick. Uriel Isias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pierluigi Buffon made a huge save. In the 25th minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juniors FC's Wlodzimierz Lepper got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lluis Companys in the 29th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Lluis Companys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juniors FC's Lázaro Colon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The KaoS Futbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Uriel Isias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. With his leg Pierluigi Buffon managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Juniors FC's Uriel Isias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Uriel Isias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pierluigi Buffon made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Juniors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Noe came free, but Lázaro Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Uriel Isias notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon. Pierluigi Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Noe in the 45th minute of play forced Juniors FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Colon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Isias to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys got a free kick in the 50th minute. Uriel Isias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierluigi Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Isias went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Juniors FC's Severino Garikoitz was substituted for Nicanor Porfirio. After 72 played minutes Juniors FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Satordi. Virgilio Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Igor Lebass short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Lázaro Colon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zeledon Tabb was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 80th minute, Enrique Frasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Frasco in the 82nd minute of the match. Matias Panpili kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th play minute Igor Lebas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lázaro Colon. 3-2.
