The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lisandro Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Stanislao in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Denis Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes The Pontiac Bandit's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hernan Crespo who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Stanislao in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Gomez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lisandro Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Stanislao in the 27th minute of the match. Denis Stanislao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, The Pontiac Bandit's Lisandro Gomez got control of the ball when Denis Stanislao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sacronas Futbol Club's Santos Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Hondo in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Stanislao in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Gomez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Beyhan Oğuzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes The Pontiac Bandit got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Bartoli. A collision led to Sacronas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Roberto Perfumo hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Cristo Hondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Denis Stanislao made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in The Pontiac Bandit's zone, Denis Stanislao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Gomez came out of the goal and Denis Stanislao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Obano got free with Santos Sidro in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Stanislao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Gomez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Stanislao in the 58th minute of play forced The Pontiac Bandit's goalkeeper Lisandro Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sacronas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Everardo Lore hit a great ball. Lisandro Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Stanislao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Oso Bucuk took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Santos Sidro to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Denis Stanislao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Gomez was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
