Stefan-Benjamin Hula started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo da Silva came free, but Kenn Kuberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rupert Heidingsfelder struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Kenn Kuberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hertha 1969. If Zé Paulo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Paris Hilty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Melzer came free, but Kenn Kuberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein got control of the ball when Stefan-Benjamin Hula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kenn Kuberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Heidingsfelder, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Zé Paulo da Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenn Kuberg was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Stefan-Benjamin Hula might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Jarstein. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stefan-Benjamin Hula ran back to his position shaking his head. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 29th minute of play. Rune Jarstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan-Benjamin Hula's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute of the game Lothar Heber made a throw-in which Zé Paulo da Silva played forward. Kenn Kuberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 36th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenn Kuberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute, Benedikt Bensch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan-Benjamin Hula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenn Kuberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo da Silva in the 46th minute of the match. The Skellerup FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hertha 1969 were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rupert Heidingsfelder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan-Benjamin Hula in the 56th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenn Kuberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
