Jess Carnduff came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem. But to his dismay, Jurek Ohrem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Éthan Pichard could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Jess Carnduff however easily saved by the left post. In the 15th minute SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner. Jurek Ohrem went to the cornerflag to take it. 15 minutes into the game, Roberto Carlos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bad Harzburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alemannia Aachen the free kick. In the 15th minute, Roberto Carlos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horst Hussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jess Carnduff having to interfere. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Alemannia Aachen from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jess Carnduff. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Müller in the 26th minute of the match. Roberto Carlos made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner. Louis Leißner charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louis Leißner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Valter Xabat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, SV Bad Harzburg's Jess Carnduff threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jurek Ohrem, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alemannia Aachen's attentive Louis Leißner managed to snatch the ball when Hermann Viapiano made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Xabat in the 42nd minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 42nd minute of play. Jess Carnduff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Viapiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valter Xabat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valter Xabat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. Jacek Matuch was a little too slow when Thomas Müller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-3. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éthan Pichard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Viapiano made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner. If Valter Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 66th minute of play. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Müller in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacek Matuch, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Alemannia Aachen's Mateusz Rydel got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horst Hussen in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alemannia Aachen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jurek Ohrem was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. Alemannia Aachen's Louis Leißner quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hermann Viapiano, made in the 89th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Thomas Müller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacek Matuch. SV Bad Harzburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Müller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Louis Leißner kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Alemannia Aachen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
