Feliberto Ipar came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Dinamo Colorado's Clemente Abraão. But to his dismay, Clemente Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Veloso came free, but Feliberto Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Feliberto Ipar managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Dinamo Colorado's Valdo Veloso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prospero Inguma might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrício Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Inguma ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 41st minute, Dinamo Colorado's Rüknettin Boğatekin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rüknettin Boğatekin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dinamo Colorado protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rüknettin Boğatekin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 42nd match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rüknettin Boğatekin to maneuver through the defense. Dinamo Colorado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xavi Hernandez in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Veloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 minutes of play, Lobos de Carelia's Zeca Fernandez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabrício Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zeca Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Fabrício Negri made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Fernandez got free with Fabrício Negri in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 60th minute of play. Feliberto Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lobos de Carelia's Gabriel Efraim was substituted for Amancio Cheche. If Clemente Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dinamo Colorado's Bruninho Oliveira was substituted for Oséias Veloso. Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Dinamo Colorado from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the game, Lobos de Carelia's Eusebio Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrício Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Lobos de Carelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
