Oscar Tande came out of the goal and Zé Carlos Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Luiz Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luiz Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Christiano Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montevideo's André Luiz Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emílio Bittencourt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Tande. 100 Chance's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st match minute, 100 Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Natanael Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Anselmo Tande notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Montevideo's André Luiz Amaral. André Luiz Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Berger was the one to do the kick off. Christiano Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but André Luiz Amaral made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Natanael Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Nogueira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 1-3 became the score in the 61st minute when Christiano Matorin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Montevideo's Leonardo Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Christiano Matorin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving André Luiz Amaral. That made the score 1-4 in the 67 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Berger came free, but André Luiz Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luiz Amaral made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Anselmo Tande sent off a good shot on target. Anselmo Tande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but André Luiz Amaral made a huge save. André Luiz Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wellington Braga in the 75th minute. Oscar Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Cipriano Berger took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for André Luiz Amaral to make any attempt to save it.
