Ernesto Bezerra made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Joaquim Marques sent off a good shot on target. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murilo Peixoto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Marques made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Murilo Peixoto threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marquinhos Brasil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Téo de Senna hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Giuseppe da Costa replaced Silvério Barral. After 61 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Téo de Senna. The referee ignored Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's protests and gave Marquinhos Brasil a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Brasil. Ronaldinho Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. When Jailson Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. 0-1 became the score in the 79th minute when Jailson Gonçalves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Téo de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Várzea F.C. the free kick. Téo de Senna hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Gonçalves in the 93rd minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Murilo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
