Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Renatinho de Andrade started the match with the kick off. The supporters of A.A. Francana booed when Sangue nos Zóio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Cido Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Francana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goal looked a bit too open when Jean de Barros came free, but Felippe Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Armando Orlando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felippe Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute Luizão Bocanegra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Brito during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Sangue nos Zóio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Brito to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes, A.A. Francana's Cido Vinhas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felippe Couto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.A. Francana reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Sangue nos Zóio's zone, Luizão Bocanegra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felippe Couto came out of the goal and Luizão Bocanegra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sangue nos Zóio getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Manuel Neto hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cido Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A. Francana's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felippe Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Acácio Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Cassia having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Denílson Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felippe Couto made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Luizão Bocanegra sent off a good shot on target. A.A. Francana's Jean de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Bocanegra in the 69th minute of play forced Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper Felippe Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jean de Barros fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A. Francana's protests and gave Jean de Barros a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes Sangue nos Zóio got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Fernandes. João Adolfo Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goal looked a bit too open when Jean de Barros came free, but Felippe Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Orlando in the 84th minute of play forced Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper Felippe Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper Felippe Couto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Adolfo Leite. Renatinho de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Cassia having to interfere. A.A. Francana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
