The audience was convinced that Ciro Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Mendonça was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The FC St. Pauli players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AKI CORINTHIANS were winning 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Munhoz made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gernando Trevisan during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 55 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guilherme Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Guilherme Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Albino Ibar sped through FC St. Pauli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Mendonça. When the final whistle sounded AKI CORINTHIANS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC St. Pauli.
