An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Corona in the 9th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Tobiasz Rostow put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. Master Champion BMX Flat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aarne Mikkola in the 14th minute. A nice corner shot did that Aarne Mikkola got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gu Zhan Wei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ruy Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Master Champion BMX Flat booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Aarne Mikkola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Tobiasz Rostow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobiasz Rostow in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gu Zhan Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Rostow in the 30th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Academia Santista CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Frans. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Rostow, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gu Zhan Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Corona in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Corona in the 40th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Sílvio Ferraz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Academia Santista CIMZ's Aaron Frans quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jeremias Aurken hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Santista CIMZ's zone, Matei Corona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal and Matei Corona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After taking down the ball on Master Champion BMX Flat's corner Aarne Mikkola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gu Zhan Wei quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Matei Corona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Tobiasz Rostow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Academia Santista CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aarne Mikkola in the 65th minute of play. Nicolae Ceaușescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Aurken in the 66th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Tobiasz Rostow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gu Zhan Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Rostow came free, but Gu Zhan Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobiasz Rostow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gu Zhan Wei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Aaron Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobiasz Rostow in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gu Zhan Wei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei got control of the ball when Matei Corona tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Master Champion BMX Flat's Luiz Paulo Meireles got a free kick in the 95th minute. Master Champion BMX Flat's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
