Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alfredo Martins got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the FC St. Pauli defense, Nestor Paraibano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder Vergílio. The FC St. Pauli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elder Vergílio should have stopped the shot. Alfredo Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elder Vergílio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. After 8 minutes, Alfredo Martins made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC St. Pauli's Elder Vergílio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 10th minute of play forced FC St. Pauli's goalkeeper Elder Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Alfredo Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elder Vergílio was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Nestor Paraibano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elder Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Alfredo Martins took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elder Vergílio. Elder Vergílio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Martins in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder Vergílio saved FC St. Pauli from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, German Cano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marquês de Herval's supporters rose to their feet, but German Cano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Alfredo Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elder Vergílio. FC St. Pauli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 28thth minute of the game Alfredo Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC St. Pauli's Elder Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elder Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Martins went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The Marquês de Herval fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Marquês de Herval's Nestor Paraibano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredo Martins took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elder Vergílio. Elder Vergílio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. After the first half Marquês de Herval were leading 0-11. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pranas Užkuraitis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Alfredo Martins lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Elder Vergílio. Elder Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Paraibano in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute of the match, German Cano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Elder Vergílio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pranas Užkuraitis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes FC St. Pauli got a freekick which was hit by Pranas Užkuraitis. Elder Vergílio was a little too slow when Alfredo Martins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-13. Elder Vergílio stood somewhat misplaced when Alfredo Martins came free in front of goal and shot 0-14 to the left of him in the 65 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elder Vergílio. That made the score 0-15 after 67 minutes of play. Marquês de Herval made a substitution. Acácio Cunha replaced Valentin Vizitiu. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-16 when Alfredo Martins sped through FC St. Pauli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elder Vergílio. Marquês de Herval's Jair Bostan was substituted for Selami Rezan. After some careless play in the FC St. Pauli defense, Alfredo Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elder Vergílio. Elder Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matheus Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC St. Pauli getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Matheus Messias hit a great ball. When Alfredo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Marquês de Herval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Martins couldn't finish the play. When Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC St. Pauli's goalie prevented a goal. Elder Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Martins in the 94th minute of the match. Alfredo Martins's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Elder Vergílio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marquês de Herval had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
