The tension between the Bene Animatus and the AKI CORINTHIANS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, one of Bene Animatus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bene Animatus. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. Jardel Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play.
