Merusca F&P's attentive Anderson Vidal managed to snatch the ball when Ni Xu made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Florian Capasso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Vítor Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 6 minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fellipe Capixaba who took care of the corner kick. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Florian Capasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Vítor Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merusca F&P's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fellipe Capixaba in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Fellipe Capixaba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio did a great save. Walmyr Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but João Vítor Arósio made a huge save. In the 25thth minute of the game Florian Capasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s João Vítor Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalju Vint was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelinho Hermes to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelinho Hermes in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro-Facundo Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Milan da Freguesia F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. William Costa hit a great ball. Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s zone, Pedrinho Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Vítor Arósio came out of the goal and Pedrinho Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Linares made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lionel 柯景义. But to his dismay, Hélder Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Merusca F&P fully deserved thier win.
