Napoleon Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burt Burachek in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Palacio in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Poreda saved Victoria Toruń from getting behind. If Czeslaw Pawlak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Napoleon Jajko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhu Yan Quan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Victoria Toruń fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Victoria Toruń's Zhu Yan Quan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, one of Zjem Cię:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zjem Cię. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Victoria Toruń's Zhu Yan Quan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Napoleon Jajko. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Mateo Palacio sped through Victoria Toruń's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Borys Poreda. In the 48th minute, Mateo Palacio made a precise shot to the right of Borys Poreda. Victoria Toruń's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateo Palacio made a kick off. Napoleon Jajko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Marmol in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Victoria Toruń's Borys Poreda got control of the ball when Czeslaw Pawlak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute Mateo Palacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Poreda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Victoria Toruń:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zjem Cię:s goal. Mateo Palacio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 80 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's goal looked a bit too open when Zhu Yan Quan came free, but Napoleon Jajko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Poreda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wasyl Dejo went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
