Iker Hidalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Vladimirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Marco Jorrin hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zico Galo in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Vladimirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Velho Barreiro FC's Zico Galo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Hidalgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Damario in the 69th minute of play. Iker Hidalgo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Riesgo Cero's Santo Damario. But to his dismay, Santo Damario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Damario in the 77th minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Damario came free, but Iker Hidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With an all-out effort, Velho Barreiro FC's Cristian Vladimirescu threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmílson Cosme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Riesgo Cero's Cristian Vladimirescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Riesgo Cero from getting a goal against them. Velho Barreiro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
