The corner led to SALIMEN's Faustino Gerazan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ulisses Sabóia took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percival Prestes. Percival Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulisses Sabóia in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Prestes saved REAL VASCO RIO from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as SALIMEN's Faustino Gerazan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Percival Prestes. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. After 18 played minutes Cláudio Pimenta rounded REAL VASCO RIO's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Percival Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cláudio Pimenta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 20 minute of play. The supporters of REAL VASCO RIO booed when SALIMEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Sabóia in the 30th minute of play. Percival Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Percival Prestes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulisses Sabóia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Cláudio Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Percival Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SALIMEN. With an all-out effort, REAL VASCO RIO's Elói Miranda threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Fernandes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Fernandes came free, but Elói Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulisses Sabóia during the 61st minute. The SALIMEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. In the 90th minute, Cláudio Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. 93 minutes into the game, Faustino Gerazan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Percival Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
