Ricardinho Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Cosme Francesco made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in MDQ Raptors FC's zone, Ricardinho Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Francesco came out of the goal and Ricardinho Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Del Materno Vengo made a substitution. Uriel Cresencio replaced Jorge Chayo. The wind increased when Domingos Aires made the kick off in the second half. When Hortêncio Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MDQ Raptors FC's protests and gave Hortêncio Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MDQ Raptors FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hortêncio Godoi hit a great ball. Cosme Francesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
