Anibal Beltxe took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeo Brun. Romeo Brun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Romulo Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Mikelats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuchilla FC's goalkeeper Romeo Brun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Sotero in the 21st minute of the match. Romulo Jon made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Alberto Tuste sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Sotero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Brun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Sotero to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when Cuchilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erasmo Ralondo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuchilla FC's protests and gave Erasmo Ralondo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Erasmo Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Samuel Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cuchilla FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ismael Thomas hit a great ball. After the first half EL PEPO FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Rainerio to make the kick off. Samuel Sotero struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Romeo Brun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL PEPO FC. Romeo Brun made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Elvio Rainerio sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Thomas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Gaspar Fernendo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Brun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuchilla FC's goalkeeper Romeo Brun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Samuel Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EL PEPO FC made a substitution. Mariano Noe replaced Samuel Sotero. Freddy Camerino came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Romeo Brun could save by the left post. Cecilio Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Romulo Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Crescencio during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Cuchilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Crescencio. In the 72nd minute of the match Gaspar Fernendo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Brun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Romeo Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Rainerio in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Cuchilla FC's goalkeeper Romeo Brun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Rainerio. Romeo Brun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elvio Rainerio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Cuchilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Bertol to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cuchilla FC's Ismael Thomas got a free kick in the 97th minute. EL PEPO FC played a much better game than Cuchilla FC and deserved their victory. The Cuchilla FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
