The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A nice corner shot did that Edelmiro Raitin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romulo Jon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ovidio Enaut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvio Rainerio in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Isaio in the 31st minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Romulo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Ayala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Jon having to make a save. Simon Ayala might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Ayala ran back to his position shaking his head. If Simon Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simon Ayala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. EL PEPO FC's Romulo Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Ayala in the 51st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Simon Ayala took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Romulo Jon to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd minute, Simon Ayala made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Jon. EL PEPO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.
