Mikael Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 范升扬 in the 8th minute of play. Mikael Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Yang Bing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcelino Gilabert fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Marplatense's protests and gave Marcelino Gilabert a yellow card for diving instead. Mikael Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Ostargi in the 22nd minute of the match. Cristobal Eneto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Burowski having to make a save. Fabian Burowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Sjögren came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrilete Cósmico FC's Nicasio Ostargi. But to his dismay, Nicasio Ostargi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 范升扬 in the 34th minute of play forced Deportivo Marplatense's goalkeeper Mikael Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game 范升扬 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Marplatense's Mikael Sjögren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Barrilete Cósmico FC's 范升扬 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Sjögren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tauras Marčiauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Deportivo Marplatense got a freekick which was hit by Tauras Marčiauskas. 47 minutes into the match, 范升扬 notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Deportivo Marplatense's Mikael Sjögren. Mikael Sjögren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Eneto made a kick off. Daniel Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Deportivo Marplatense got a freekick which was hit by Tauras Marčiauskas. Mikael Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 范升扬, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, Tauras Marčiauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustaquio Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mikael Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrilete Cósmico FC made a substitution. Alonzo Caton replaced Nicasio Ostargi. If Eustaquio Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrilete Cósmico FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
