An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Fei Xing in the 31st minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Duarte de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Wang Fei Xing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte de Barros. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte de Barros should have stopped the shot. Teobald Pyczkowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte de Barros having to make a save. After 42 minutes, Romeu Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minotauro and the Vila Industrial FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
