After 6 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Marchi. SAN LORENZO FC's Julio Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Pelé in the 8th minute of play. Froilan Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Nazario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paco Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Andrézinho Pelé hit a great ball. Ciriaco Cordarrell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paco Zamora having to make a save. Marcelo Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Andrézinho Pelé's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Ferman firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Simon Eufrasio hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Pelé. Sergio Marchi made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RB Chubut's Tadeo Suarez. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sergio Marchi hit a great ball. Julio Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Gonza came free, but Paco Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Ferman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrézinho Pelé's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Andrézinho Pelé reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Ferman. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 47th minute Ciriaco Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

RB Chubut made a substitution. Adrian Cristos replaced Inocencio Ramirez. RB Chubut's Lázaro Quico was substituted for Rogelio Otsando. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niles Moran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Ferman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niles Moran in the 54th minute of play. Ciriaco Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paco Zamora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Roberto Monserrat kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Tadeo Suarez made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SAN LORENZO FC's Gustavo Matosas. In the 65th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Suarez to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niles Moran came free, but Julio Ferman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Iago during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Niles Moran put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Ferman. Tadeo Suarez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Paco Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 87th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SAN LORENZO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute, Edgard Orlondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RB Chubut were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
