Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Isăilă in the 19th minute of play. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Isăilă in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Manuel Isăilă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ninjas in Pyjamas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rareș Tatulici in the 24th minute. The corner led to Ninjas in Pyjamas's Kenneth Almkvist getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Isăilă came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Gerardo Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Yue Guang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Manuel Isăilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pontus Nordström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Peruxu. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Santa Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Tatulici, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Santa Margarita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ninjas in Pyjamas were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Lordi to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Santa Margarita's Witomir Pisarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santa Margarita's Elmo Jaanovits was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. Santa Margarita's Wendell Davids was substituted for Witomir Pisarczyk. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Klaus Mohammadi replaced Enzo Peruxu. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Kenneth Almkvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Andreas Landgren, made in the 64th minute of the game. The supporters of Santa Margarita booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Hagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Manuel Isăilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Isăilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pontus Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenneth Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Manuel Isăilă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ninjas in Pyjamas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ninjas in Pyjamas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
