Cassiano Montenegros short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Rogelio Franco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 23 minutes into the match, Don Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Franco. Rafaela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Rafaela FC's Rogelio Franco got control of the ball when Teófilo Pádua tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Franco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 29th play minute Teófilo Pádua came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rogelio Franco. 4-0. Rogelio Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Duarte went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Mateus Campos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Don Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Don Duarte sped through Rafaela FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogelio Franco. Rogelio Franco came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Alexandre Veríssimo. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alcides Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
