A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aílton Damião hit a great ball. Nildo de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo de Souza in the 14th minute of play. Moisés Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Winnicki in the 16th minute of the match. Roceira SC's Marcelinho Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo de Souza in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kalle Billberg in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Barral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the game, Michel Haaland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roceira SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. Marcelinho Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Billberg in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Aílton Damião recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Moisés Arruda. Aílton Damião showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulk Speed took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Arruda. Moisés Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Egil Schjelderup came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulk Speed in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Poetass FC defense, Michel Haaland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Moisés Arruda. The Poetass FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Moisés Arruda should have stopped the shot. Roceira SC's Dedê Oliveira was substituted for Aílton Damião. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kalle Billberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute of the match, Jon-Egil Schjelderup got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcelinho Barral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner was taken by Michel Haaland in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Brysz came free, but Marcelinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
