ZEZOM TEAM's Armando Mascarenhas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vladimiro Gago, made in the 5th minute of the game. 7 minutes into the match, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Morais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. André Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Sabrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, ZEZOM TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Aparecido came free, but Enzo Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Magno Aparecido hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Xavier Sabrosa sped through Minho FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Figueiredo. André Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Sabrosa in the 27th minute of the match. Enzo Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Aparecido in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Morais saved ZEZOM TEAM from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Magno Aparecido in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enzo Morais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Joaquim Teves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Teves hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Morais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, Minho FC's Magno Aparecido made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Morais was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magno Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Azeari got free with André Figueiredo in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rowan Dobson fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minho FC's protests and gave Rowan Dobson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ZEZOM TEAM booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Dobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Santiago. Minho FC made a substitution. Antero Mendes replaced Demetrio Savini. Minho FC made a substitution. Minho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nate Calas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ZEZOM TEAM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
