Walmir Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Maoz Ferro made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Aleixo came free, but Felippe Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Maoz Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Igrejas in the 20th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Carlos Igrejas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chute de Ouro FC's Felippe Maranhense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 played minutes Chute de Ouro FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Paraibano. After 27 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Igrejas. 34 minutes into the game, FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felippe Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 39th minute Carlos Igrejas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chute de Ouro FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ricardinho Capixaba hit a great ball. Felippe Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Igrejas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fabinho Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alípio Vilaverde came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Fura Balizas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alípio Vilaverde couldn't finish the play. Felippe Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Igrejas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Carlos Igrejas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Felippe Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the match, Carlos Igrejas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felippe Maranhense. Chute de Ouro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Igrejas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Alípio Vilaverde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Felippe Maranhense made a huge save. In the 68th minute, FC Fura Balizas's Carlos Igrejas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 74th minute, FC Fura Balizas's Rodrigo Vilela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felippe Maranhense. Felippe Maranhense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Carlos Igrejas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chute de Ouro FC's Felippe Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aprígio Aleixo in the 82nd minute of play. Edgard Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiago Fraga got free with Felippe Maranhense in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Durval Dantas with Ricardinho Capixaba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 90th minute Aprígio Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felippe Maranhense was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Tiago Fraga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiago Fraga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6.
