The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Hasselqvist got free with Gustavo Guimarães in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Diniz in the 9th minute of play. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Diniz in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Hasselqvist got free with Gustavo Guimarães in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Gallegos came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Gerardo Lordi made the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Guimarães was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Gustavo Guimarães came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Margarita's Andréas Hasselqvist. But to his dismay, Andréas Hasselqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 61st minute Ricky Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Lordi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 68th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Landgren in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Andreas Landgren sped through Club Deportivo Águila's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. Club Deportivo Águila made a substitution. Ivan Viscarra replaced Herminio Florinio. Club Deportivo Águila's Saul Alas was substituted for Baltazar Oporto. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Koppens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pontus Nordström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dário Diniz in the 82nd minute. Saul Alas made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santa Margarita's Gonzalo Orixe. Dário Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Pontus Nordström made a huge save. Mauro Icardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute Mauro Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Viscarra in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Águila defense, Mauro Icardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. The Club Deportivo Águila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Guimarães should have stopped the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
