If Arnaldo Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iker Atarrabi came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Congo Bongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Atarrabi couldn't finish the play. Kayhan Tancan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Oidor in the 21st minute of play. If Arnaldo Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Lorien got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Amado Sansone. 25 minutes into the match, KUN SPORTS's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Oidor came free, but Kayhan Tancan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kayhan Tancan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Oidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Oidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kayhan Tancan having to interfere. Arnaldo Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of KUN SPORTS booed when Congo Bongo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özalp Yavuzalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özalp Yavuzalp's late challenge caught a KUN SPORTS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özalp Yavuzalp helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Congo Bongo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Özalp Yavuzalp hit a great ball. Congo Bongo's Petre Traian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Congo Bongo from getting a goal against them. When Arnaldo Oidor, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 45 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kayhan Tancan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdika Borbon was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdika Borbon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Traian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo Oidor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Kayhan Tancan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arnaldo Oidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kayhan Tancan having to interfere. Congo Bongo's Damaso Sancho was substituted for Arnaldo Oidor. In the 67th minute of the game Paolo Lorien made a throw-in which Egídio Passos played forward. When KUN SPORTS's Abdika Borbon in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Congo Bongo's goalie prevented a goal. Tobias Lano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Petre Traian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind KUN SPORTS's goalkeeper Kayhan Tancan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, KUN SPORTS's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Sancho came free, but Kayhan Tancan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Passos in the 82nd minute of play forced Congo Bongo's goalkeeper Petre Traian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Damaso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Damaso Sancho, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 90 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kayhan Tancan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Damaso Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
