When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Augusto Cordario took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Esteve Iratxo to make any attempt to save it. Esteve Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Augusto Cordario sent off a good shot on target. Esteve Iratxo was a little too slow when Augusto Cordario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 4-0. The supporters of Kekambas FC booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Velez Sarsfield fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Augusto Cordarios short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Esteve Iratxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the game, Augusto Cordario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteve Iratxo. Augusto Cordario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. Augusto Cordario had several of the Kekambas FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 7-0 score and a disappointed Esteve Iratxo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Augusto Cordario's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Esteve Iratxo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 47 minutes into the match, Kekambas FC's goalkeeper Esteve Iratxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Cordario. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blas Peio made a kick off. Esteve Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kekambas FC's Esteve Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Cordario in the 61st minute of play. The throw-in from Fernando Bertol in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Velez Sarsfield's Javier Pinola. Esteve Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Cordario in the 63rd minute of the match. Velez Sarsfield's Erwin Huygens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Velez Sarsfield from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Kekambas FC defense, Augusto Cordario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Iratxo. The Kekambas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Iratxo should have stopped the shot. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Leandro Berti replaced Ignacio Berenguer. Fernando Bertol hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Cordario in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Iratxo saved Kekambas FC from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Augusto Cordario notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Kekambas FC's Esteve Iratxo. Esteve Iratxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Velez Sarsfield's Ago Tramp was substituted for Filomeno Montrell. Velez Sarsfield's Yiyo Bernal was substituted for Marcos Pacifico. Esteve Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Cordario in the 86th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kekambas FC defense, Augusto Cordario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Iratxo. The Kekambas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Iratxo should have stopped the shot. If Augusto Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes, Augusto Cordario made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kekambas FC's Esteve Iratxo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Velez Sarsfield fully deserved thier win.
