With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darrel Pennington prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Galli in the 5th minute of play forced Puianello FC's goalkeeper Darrel Pennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darrel Pennington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trento Calcio 1921's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fortunato Gatti in the 11th minute. After taking down the ball on Trento Calcio 1921's corner Frank Galli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Darrel Pennington quite easily take care of the ball. Frank Galli did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Darrel Pennington 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th match minute, Trento Calcio 1921 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Gatti to maneuver through the defense. Mutlu Baykam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Mazzone in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes Trento Calcio 1921's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sándor Bodnár who took care of the corner kick. Fortunato Gatti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Darrel Pennington made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Trento Calcio 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Göksel Taşdan came free, but Mutlu Baykam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puianello FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Trento Calcio 1921's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sándor Bodnár took the corner. The corner led Puianello FC's Sándor Bodnár to fire away a dangerous shot which Mutlu Baykam despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mutlu Baykam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Mazzone in the 42nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Galli was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Fortunato Gatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrel Pennington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darrel Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Galli in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Mazzone in the 59th minute of play forced Trento Calcio 1921's goalkeeper Mutlu Baykam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Arturo Avesani threw the ball into play from the sideline. Puianello FC's Damiano Renzetti quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 63 played minutes Puianello FC got a freekick which was hit by Göksel Taşdan. Carlo Mazzone spun around in front of the goal 80 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Trento Calcio 1921's goal. In the 82nd minute Carlo Mazzone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mutlu Baykam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puianello FC's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Puianello FC players left disappointed.
