With a little luck, Puianello FC's Armando Fontana got control of the ball when Concetto Rucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Puianello FC's goalkeeper Armando Fontana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Rucci. Armando Fontana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Cristos in the 20th minute of the match. Alvaro Sanna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göksel Taşdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, Göksel Taşdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Sanna. Sporting Club Sicilia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göksel Taşdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Maxim Biller with Marick Hofmeester as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 31 played minutes Puianello FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Esposito. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göksel Taşdan in the 35th minute of play. Maxim Biller made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bernardo Montel immediately put the ball in play. In the 38th minute, Guaberto Cristos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Club Sicilia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Armando Fontana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Göksel Taşdan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Cristos in the 51st minute of play forced Puianello FC's goalkeeper Armando Fontana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Fontana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto De Nardis in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Puianello FC's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto De Nardis came free, but Armando Fontana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göksel Taşdan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Sanna came out and tried to block the shot, but Göksel Taşdan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 59th minute. Armando Fontana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Montel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Fontana was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Puianello FC made a substitution. Amedeo Di Lullo replaced Carlo Mazzone. In the 74th minute Guaberto Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Fontana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Fontana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Puianello FC's Amedeo Di Lullo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Sanna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amedeo Di Lullos short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Alvaro Sanna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Puianello FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Camillo Caiola hit a great ball. Alvaro Sanna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Di Lullo in the 86th minute of play. Alvaro Sanna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo Di Lullo in the 87th minute. Alvaro Sanna made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Amedeo Di Lullo sent off a good shot on target. Aleksander Støylen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Club Sicilia fully deserved thier win.
