In the 11th minute Alfonso Goicoechea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Matanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cisco Birlik FC defense, Alfonso Goicoechea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Matanov. The Cisco Birlik FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Matanov should have stopped the shot. Veysel Koçarslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Mugur Chiriac made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Anselmo Nevada however managed to control. Frank Matanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Nevada in the 21st minute. Veysel Koçarslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jelmer Pander who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ömer Demirci almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski did a great save. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Demirci in the 35th minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veysel Koçarslan in the 44th minute of play. Frank Matanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Chiriac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ömer Demirci made the kick off in the second half. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veysel Koçarslan in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Cisco Birlik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Erramu came free, but Frank Matanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Atlanta were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Cisco Birlik FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Ferdinand took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Anselmo Nevada heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Frank Matanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ömer Demirci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Pankracy Glogowski made a huge save. Frank Matanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac in the 64th minute of play. If Veysel Koçarslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Atlanta made a substitution. Benigno Abreu replaced Remigio Erramu. Pankracy Glogowski was a little too slow when Ömer Demirci got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 2-2. Frank Matanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them.
