Valdir Pérez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Trigo in the 2nd minute. Alfred Chmelyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandão Loyola in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Sebastian Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Zé Trigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Trigo took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 19th minute, Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo. But to his dismay, Zé Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Chmelyk in the 32nd minute of play. Gil Paiva made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sumaré Sport Club's Luís Fabiano de Sena. Zé Trigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Pérez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. União Verde FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Zé Trigo scored to the left of an out of position Valdir Pérez, making the score, 5-0. Zé Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alfred Chmelyk made the kick off in the second half. Zé Trigo scored 7-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdir Pérez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alfred Chmelyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Chmelyk in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Zé Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sumaré Sport Club's attentive Luís Fabiano de Sena managed to snatch the ball when Gil Paiva made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. The Sumaré Sport Club fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Sumaré Sport Club's Alfred Chmelyk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 69 minutes, Zé Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumaré Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdir Pérez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Chmelyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Trigo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Trigo in the 81st minute of play forced União Verde FC's goalkeeper Valdir Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo. But to his dismay, Zé Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Sebastian Brun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdir Pérez having to make a save. If Zé Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdir Pérez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Zé Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sumaré Sport Club booed when União Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
