Hamílton Chaves came out of the goal and Elias Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Arsenal de Gols F.C's Elias Siqueira in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hamílton Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Siqueira in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Siqueira in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamílton Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Siqueira in the 13th minute of play forced Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Siqueira in the 14th minute of play. If Elias Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The supporters of Ligeiro F.C booed when Arsenal de Gols F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claus Ostwald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Arsenal de Gols F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Siqueira made a kick off. Elias Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamílton Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Siqueira ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves got control of the ball when Elias Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Krisztián Kormos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orlando Sampaio in the 58 minute of the game. Elias Siqueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamílton Chaves having to make a save. With a little luck, Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves got control of the ball when Elias Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Siqueiras short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Hamílton Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 65th minute, Jan-Joost Grootjans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenal de Gols F.C made a substitution. Georges-Philippe Puttemas replaced Betão Duarte. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Ivo Arce was substituted for Jan-Joost Grootjans. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Raimundo Alvarenga was substituted for Elias Siqueira. If Georges-Philippe Puttemas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Frank Tasso. 93 minutes into the match, Raimundo Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamílton Chaves. Ligeiro F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Ligeiro F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arsenal de Gols F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
