Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matheus Pitta kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Pitta came free, but Valdir Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Pinho struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Valdir Pérez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nitra FC. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Pitta in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Matheus Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Pérez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valdir Pérez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matheus Pitta went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Valdir Pérez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nando Pinho went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Williams Ferrari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheus Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Pérez having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Agnaldo Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matheus Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nando Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bebeto de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, União Verde FC's Laércio Damião sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerônimo Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernandão Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Maranhense having to interfere. Nando Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdir Pérez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the União Verde FC defense, Williams Ferrari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdir Pérez. The União Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdir Pérez should have stopped the shot. Nando Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Valdir Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Loyola in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernandão Loyola was the one to do the kick off. Fernandão Loyola scored 1-5 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Adalberto Albuquerque got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Nando Pinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Valdir Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Pitta in the 57th minute of play. Valdir Pérez came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Nitra FC's Williams Ferrari. But to his dismay, Williams Ferrari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. 76 minutes into the game, Matheus Pitta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdir Pérez. Matheus Pitta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. In the 79th match minute, União Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Paiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Nando Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Nitra FC's Nando Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. Nando Pinho struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Valdir Pérez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nitra FC. If Williams Ferrari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nitra FC's Matheus Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Nitra FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than União Verde FC.
