Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Domingues in the 6th minute of play. Hamílton Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Enrique Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hamílton Chaves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute, Bernardo Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Enrique Domingues notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves. Hamílton Chaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamílton Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Domingues in the 19th minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Enrique Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Enrique Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Chaves was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Capivariano F.C. were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Ligeiro F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fiori de Lara took the corner. Hamílton Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Domingues's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 43 minutes, Enrique Domingues made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Capivariano F.C.'s Enrique Domingues in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ligeiro F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Tasso was the one to do the kick off. Hamílton Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Enrique Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamílton Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Trancoso in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvinho Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Domingues struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Hamílton Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capivariano F.C.. Bernardo Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Domingues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Domingues in the 76th minute of play forced Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Capivariano F.C.'s Alfredão Veiga was substituted for Enrique Domingues. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ligeiro F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fiori de Lara was slow to take the kick. During this time Capivariano F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Tasso during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ligeiro F.C's Frank Tasso got a free kick in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernani Paraíba. Alfredão Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Capivariano F.C. booed when Ligeiro F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Amorim made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Capivariano F.C.'s Aleksander Prus.
