Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank McLintock to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Iron Maiden Football's Marco Mendes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdir Pérez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Iron Maiden Football's Kartal Onural got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Valdir Pérez. Valdir Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank McLintock in the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play, Iron Maiden Football's Marco Mendes made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valdir Pérez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aníbal Leal's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Marco Mendes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdir Pérez. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Leal let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 81st minute shot 0-13 at rihgt post. The crowd rose to their feet as Iron Maiden Football's Duda Velloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdir Pérez. That made the score 0-14 after 84 minutes of play. After 93 minutes, Aníbal Leal made it 0-16 with a short kick to the right side. União Verde FC's Valdir Pérez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdir Pérez was a little too slow when Aníbal Leal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 98th minute. The score was now 0-17.
