New Loser FC's 김 담 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Enéas Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Montel in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Ahmet Nasir Nesefi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank McLintock in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 김 담 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank McLintock came free, but 김 담 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Tepedino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Montel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Enéas Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Viña in the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, Iron Maiden Football's Enéas Tepedino got control of the ball when Matias Viña tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Iron Maiden Football's Frank McLintock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 김 담 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. New Loser FC's 김 담 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank McLintock in the 35th minute of play. Enéas Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Montel in the 37th minute of play. Frank McLintock scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 김 담, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Iron Maiden Football were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Iron Maiden Football's Jorginho da Costa was substituted for José Ramos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Montel was the one to do the kick off. Duda Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 김 담 having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda Velloso got free with 김 담 in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Iron Maiden Football were awarded a corner. Kartal Onural went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kartal Onural got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 김 담 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Iron Maiden Football booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enéas Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Frank McLintock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 김 담 was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Frank McLintock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. New Loser FC's Ezequiel Novaes was substituted for Denílson Vides. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Leal in the 80th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Viña in the 88th minute of play forced Iron Maiden Football's goalkeeper Enéas Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aníbal Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but 김 담 made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden Football's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Teles came free, but Enéas Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the New Loser FC defense, Aníbal Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 김 담. The New Loser FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 김 담 should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Iron Maiden Football walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
