The DALO S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramos Pejuan should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by DALO S.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gomesano Gatica received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramos Pejuan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gomesano Gatica slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. Ramos Pejuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomesano Gatica, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Ramos Pejuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Telmo. Ioritz Hernainz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Valdaliso in the 30th minute of play.
