The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Wojciech Duda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Acácio Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Guang Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gu Guang Cheng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Acácio Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gu Guang Cheng in the 18th minute of the match. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Guang Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Acácio Lara came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hermanos CIMZ's Gu Guang Cheng. But to his dismay, Gu Guang Cheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gu Guang Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Frank Pinho hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Los Hermanos CIMZ's Wojciech Duda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Hermanos CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Club Athletico Paulistano were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Los Hermanos CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saad Dar took the corner. The corner led to Club Athletico Paulistano's Zé Paulo de Senna getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Wojciech Duda made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Fabinho dos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Varane hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fabinho dos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Wojciech Duda made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 46th minute of play forced Los Hermanos CIMZ's goalkeeper Wojciech Duda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Athletico Paulistano were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Los Hermanos CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saad Dar took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Eliseu Mendes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gu Guang Cheng to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gu Guang Cheng.
