The Matos Velhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito de Godoi should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Bihar came free, but Vito de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Bihar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito de Godoi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Bihar in the 18th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seçkin Öksüzoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Bihar was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Benedicto Bihar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito de Godoi was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
