After some careless play in the Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ defense, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Neto. The Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Augusto Neto should have stopped the shot. After 33 minutes, Ramon Raymundo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cãlin Damaschin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Tesone in the 37th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Raymundo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cãlin Damaschin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis to make the kick off. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Augusto Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Nabucodonosor E.C. Cãlin Damaschin stood somewhat misplaced when Ramon Raymundo came free in front of goal and shot 5-2 to the left of him in the 78 minute. The audience was convinced that Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Neto was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. If Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Cãlin Damaschin got control of the ball when Rafinha Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Ramon Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
