In the 6th minute Sabino Vilhena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Augusto Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Vilhena in the 6th minute of play. Donato Tesone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike van Kampen having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrique Candal went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mike van Kampen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Sabino Vilhena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Henrique Candal sped through Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Augusto Neto. Pedro Augusto Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabino Vilhena in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Candal was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Tesone got free with Mike van Kampen in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavinho de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Augusto Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Vilhena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Mike van Kampen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Heigo Luiga took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Augusto Neto. Pedro Augusto Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 73 played minutes Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho de Lara. Karl Nietlisbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Heigo Luiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Augusto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Augusto Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Nietlisbach in the 88th minute of play. Ramon Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mike van Kampen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafinha Massa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mike van Kampen made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Raymundo came free, but Mike van Kampen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Matos Velhos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
