Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Treppa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Treppa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeu Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Alinborger's Manuel Boroș got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when FC Alinborger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Buteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pitin Vallejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tadeu Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Sebastian Bîlbă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kamal Pahlevi. Sebastian Bîlbă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Treppa in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Alinborger's Manuel Boroș got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Leonard Treppa sped through FC Alinborger's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Treppa's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after FC Alinborger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pitin Vallejo took the corner. When Leonard Treppa came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tirant lo Blanch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Treppa couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leonard Treppa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Bîlbă made a kick off. Tadeu Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tirant lo Blanch's Carmen Paniagua was substituted for Leonard Treppa. Carmen Paniagua might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeu Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmen Paniagua ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jonatan Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeu Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmen Paniagua's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Radomil Barciniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmen Paniagua in the 92nd minute of the match. Carmen Paniagua scored 1-9 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tirant lo Blanch's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
