The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michal Majdoch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes of play, Jagiellonia Denver's Michal Majdoch made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Jagiellonia Denver's Michal Majdoch ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Fe. Federico Fe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Inocente to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Majdoch in the 53rd minute of play. Rudolf Garreau's late challenge caught a Trapiche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Cacá Čačak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jagiellonia Denver fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trapiche had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
