Ariel Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jesus Allu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Ariel Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jesus Allu in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Orfilio Orbañanos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tancredo Manguyague. The goal made the score 1-0. Zebulón Diaz de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Szczepan Mazierz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague got control of the ball when Orfilio Orbañanos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, U. de Tarapacá's Rafael Demanet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael Demanet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of U. de Tarapacá protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael Demanet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. U. de Tarapacá's Jorge Garmendia was substituted for Kim Heers. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Snorlax FC. Mario Jesus Allu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ariel Balboa. 1-1. After 20 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergi Massuh. Orfilio Orbañanos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tancredo Manguyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jesus Allu in the 25th minute of play. Tancredo Manguyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem Duman in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Snorlax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cartagena to maneuver through the defense. Snorlax FC's Zebulón Diaz de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Orfilio Orbañanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mario Jesus Allu hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orfilio Orbañanos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Zebulón Diaz de Andrade came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muharrem Duman in the 59th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U. de Tarapacá's Domingo Barcena was substituted for Orfilio Orbañanos. After taking down the ball on U. de Tarapacá's corner Mark Devia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tancredo Manguyague quite easily take care of the ball. Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Barcena in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Domingo Barcena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tancredo Manguyague. Snorlax FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Barcena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lorenzo Cartagena's late challenge caught a U. de Tarapacá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Cartagena helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lorenzo Cartagena hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Domingo Barcena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tancredo Manguyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Barcena in the 71st minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tancredo Manguyague came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by U. de Tarapacá's Domingo Barcena. But to his dismay, Domingo Barcena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Domingo Barcena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tancredo Manguyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Barcena came free, but Tancredo Manguyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Cartagena kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Jesus Allu. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Garmendia hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. U. de Tarapacá were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Snorlax FC for a fine match.
